After giving up home court in a Game 2 upset in the NBA Finals, the internet was ready to dethrone Joker and the Nuggets. Spo’ and the Heat had “figured out” Joker and the title was coming back to Miami.
Then yesterday happened.
Nikola Jokic, or the best player on the entire fucking planet, posted one of the (if the not the best) stat lines in the history of the NBA Finals. He is just simply incredible to watch, and let’s not forget that Jamal Murray posted his own triple double last night as well. The combination of Murray and Jokic is honestly beautiful to watch as a fan of the game, and infuriating to think about when trying to think of ways to stop them. They are the best duo the league has seen since Shaq and Kobe circa 2003. Throw in the fact that they have the most well rounded team in the NBA in the last five years and you can’t help but to think “how many titles can these guys win in a row?”
As a diehard Cavaliers fan, all I can say is I’m jealous. But I’ll be damned if I am a hater. I love see small market teams come in and fuck the game up for the boys with all the money.
It was always the Nuggets in five and never forget Heat fans, this is the guy who you’ll see in your nightmares for the next five years.

Plays of the day:
With no NBA Finals action today, I am looking to the WNBA for my fix. Tonight I love the LV Aces -5.5 on the spread at -110 odds and the over of 167.5 at -110 odds. The Aces and Sun both score at a very high rate, with LV averaging 93.1 PPG and giving up 76.9 PPG, while the Sun are averaging 79.6 PPG and are giving up 77.9 PPG. The Aces are an offensive juggernaut, and unless Aja Wilson and Jackie Young just fall to pieces, both of these bets should hit with ease.
Stay sexy, my beautiful friends
