Happy Friday— Let’s get rich!

The NBA is back in action tonight with the Miami Heat taking on the Philadelphia 76ers and the Dallas Mavericks play host to the Phoenix Suns. Miami and Phoenix both hold a 2-0 lead in the series and are looking to stay perfect tonight.

With superstar Joel Embiid sidelined with a concussion and a facial injury, games 1&2 were never really close and even with the possibility of a return tonight for Embiid, I don’t see it playing out any differently. The heat bolster the leagues top defense throughout the playoffs, having a defensive rating of 103.8 while also only allowing 16.9 points off of turnovers, 12 second chance points, and 8.7 fast break points per game. With their stifling defense and their 5-2 record ATS in the playoffs, Miami -3 is too juicy to pass up. The O/U sits at 210 currently, and with a combined record of 4-11 throughout the playoffs, both the Heat and 76ers, hit the under at a 76% rate. That coupled with the great defense Miami has shown, has all signs pointing to the under.
